Jasim Mohammed, Kawan Ahmed, Nzar Anwar and Shangar Ibrahimi raped a 15-year-old girl in Sheffield between September 2010 and December 2012. Mohammed raped her 10 times over 10 months, Ahmed twice, and Anwar and Ibrahimi once each; they plied her with drugs and alcohol, exploiting her vulnerability after she was taken into care following her mother’s death. Their place of birth has not been made public but are known to be of Kurdish descent and thought to be Muslims. In 2020 Mohammed, Ahmed, Anwar and Ibrahimi were convicted and sentenced to 25, 18, 15 and 12 years imprisonment, respectively. (Five others were acquitted of sexually abusing the girl: Usman Din, Tony Juone, Kamaran Mahmoodi, Saman Mohammed and Farhad Mirzaie.)

Amanda Spencer groomed and introduced to the girl to the men. She helped organise the sexual abuse and rape of a total of seven girls aged 13 to 17 years old between 2006 and 2011. In 2014 and 2017 Spencer was convicted and sentenced to 12 and a further 3 years imprisonment.
