Mohammed Yaqoob

Mohammed Yaqoob drugged 15-year-old Victoria Agoglia to death in Rochdale, Greater Manchester on 29 September 2003; he was found guilty of ‘administering a noxious substance’, not manslaughter. A member of the Rochdale child rape gangs, he was identified by Operation Augusta as one of 97 suspects with 57 victims, including Victoria: from age 13 she reported to social workers and police that she was being drugged, sexually assault and raped, sometimes up to 25 men in a single night. His place of birth has not been made public. In 2004 Yaqoob was convicted and sentenced to a minimum of three years and six months imprisonment.
