Tracey Connelly

Tracey Connelly neglected and contributed to the manslaughter of her 17-month-old son Peter Connelly (Baby P) in Haringey, London, in August 2007. She allowed her partner Steven Barker to inflict over 50 injuries, including a broken back, through beatings and starvation. In 2008 Connelly convicted and sentenced to indefinite imprisonment with a minimum of 5 years to serve.

She was released on licence in 2013 but recalled in 2015 for breaching parole by selling nude photos online. Released again in July 2022, she was recalled in September 2024 for further licence breaches.
